A "Dental NiTi Broken Root Drill" is a specialized tool used in dentistry for the extraction of teeth with broken roots. NiTi stands for Nickel Titanium, which is a material commonly used in dental instruments due to its flexibility, strength, and resistance to corrosion.
Usually consists of handle, bar and working end, generally made of stainless steel material, non-sterile provided.

It is used to pry loose teeth, pry out roots, residual roots, broken root tips, etc.

1. Rotary lifting type 1#

  •  Select the appropriate screw according to the size of the residual root, and screw the tip of the screw into the root canal at a suitable depth.
  • Place the working port of the pliers between the tooth and the screw shank, open the support block to take the adjacent tooth as the fulcrum, hold and press the pliers handle, under the action of the support block, the head end of the pliers will slowly open and drive the screw shank to lift and pull out the residual root.

2. Rotary lifting type 2#

  • Select the appropriate screw according to the size of the residual root, screw the tip of the screw into the root canal at a suitable depth, and pull upward with the minimally invasive dental brace to remove the residual root.
  • In order to avoid the instrument from slipping out of the hand during the operation, it is recommended to add a safety cord to fix the instrument handle at the connection hole.

Note:

  • It is recommended to use high temperature and high pressure method to sterilize the extraction jaws.
  • Avoid placing the extractor together with corrosive drugs.
  • The extraction jaws should be operated by professional oral surgeons.
